Create your workspace
Sign up
Go to Register and provide your name, email and a password. You must accept the Terms of Service, Privacy Policy and Acceptable Use Policy — the Create account button stays disabled until all three are ticked. Each opens in a new tab so you can read them without losing the form.
Password requirements
Passwords must be at least 14 characters and contain a lowercase letter, an uppercase letter, a number and a special character. The form shows a live checklist that turns green as you satisfy each rule. Maximum length is 128 characters.
Verify your email
Unless your deployment has verification disabled, you'll receive a verification link. The resend button has a 60-second cooldown. Password reset links expire after one hour.
Set up two-factor authentication
Two-factor authentication is mandatory. You cannot reach any part of the product without it — after signing in you are redirected straight to setup.
See Signing in and two-factor authentication for the full flow.
Create your workspace
The first time you sign in without a workspace, you'll see the Create workspace card. There are two steps:
Step 1 — Identity. Company Name is required. Legal Name and Organisation Number are optional.
Step 2 — Contact and invoice details. Sysadmin name, email and phone, plus invoice address and email. All optional — you can fill these in later from Settings.
Click Finish and your workspace is created. You become its Owner, with full control over members, billing, assets, scans, findings and reports.
Workspaces created through self-service signup are SMB edition. Enterprise workspaces — with organisation-scoped administration, custom roles and governance features — are provisioned by Perimeter directly. Note that organisation hierarchy and subsidiaries are not Enterprise-only; they are available from the Professional plan upward. See Editions.
Until a workspace exists, only Settings is reachable in the sidebar; other items are dimmed.
If you were invited
If a colleague invited you, open the invitation link instead. You'll accept the same three policies and then land directly in their workspace with whatever role they assigned you.
You can hold pending invitations to several workspaces at once — they appear in a Pending Invitations card above your dashboard, each with Accept and Decline. Invitation tokens are single-use.
First things to do
- Add your assets — seed the domains and IP ranges you own.
- Decide whether to require domain verification. It is off by default. With it on, domain and subdomain seeds must pass a DNS or HTTPS challenge before anything is scanned. Turn it on in the organisation's settings if you want proof of control enforced.
- Run a discovery scan to find what else is out there.
- Review discovered assets and approve the ones that are genuinely yours.
- Invite your team from Settings → Members.
